Thoughts on various things (mostly Politics, Military and Law Enforcement) from a former police officer and retired military guy in occupied Northern Kalifornia (who happens to be a life-member of the VRWC).
"The Bronze, they take our pride!"
- Mad Max
"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself"
- John Stuart Mill
"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing"
- Anonymous (Often attributed to Edmund Burke)
“When seconds count, the police are only minutes away.”
- Tom Gresham
"Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference. The Marines don't have that problem."
- Pres. Ronald Reagan
“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague.”
- Marcus Tullius Cicero
"If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek neither your counsel nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen."
- Samuel Adams
“Be ashamed to die until you have done something good for mankind.”
- Pastor Vernon Johnson (during the Revolutionary War)
"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing"
- Edmund Burke
"I don't get paid to lose."
- Me
On case you're wondering, the nickname "The Bronze" comes from the movie "Mad Max" (the original one) and was given to me by my buddy Warren T.
Many Brazilians are black - so they must be traitors to their race if they won the Olympic bid, humiliating Dear Leader and his entourage of key negroes
ReplyDeleteEveryone is a raaaaaaaaacist if they oppose or tell Barry NO..... Okrah and her fat ass, along with first commmie Michelle couldn't pull it off.... They really were that arrogant to think Dear Leader would show up and steal the show. I guess he isnt the rock star he thinks he is in Europe!!!
ReplyDeleteI hope this knocked down his pompous ass a bit.
I actually stayed up all night and watched this fiasco on TV.... Chicago's bid was childish, the films were stupid and Mayor Dicky Daley was a booger eating moron. I guess Daley didn't bring enough money to bribe everyone.
Thank God IOC saw right through this charade.... Michelle Obama's speech was ridiculous, the tear jerker to be was nothing more of explaining her father had MS and taught her how to throw punches!!! I had to shake my head on that one. She sure can throw a mean punch, bitch slap etc.... I guess when she threatened Rio's first lady the gloves were off The first Lady of Rio did more then throw a punch. It showed what Michelle is an arrogant do nothing bitch.
Being a Chicagoan I am so happy and many others are happy Chicago didnt get it. It would have made Chicago another Detroit.
You mean The Won and the First Tranny couldn't make the sale?
ReplyDeleteShocking....
Yes Pep, this was definitely a great day for real Americans.
LL, thanks for coming by.
